Routt County partners with nonprofit organizations such as Yampa Valley Sustainability Council to provide numerous opportunities to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Current programs and activities provided with the assistance of these organizations include:

• Fluorescent light bulb recycling machine
• Support of recycling at the Routt County Fair
• Annual Community Clean Up Day
• Provision of Community Recycling Events
• Recycling Guide
